Thread: Real Sharpshooters: The Laser Rifle
Finally someone who knows about and talks about tactics. I'm getting tired of hearing people trying to compare pistals to rifles at the same range. Use your rifle as it is meant, from a long ways away. Drop them before they get to you, just as you do to the NPC's. They have way more health points then a PC, and you are able to solo them, and drop them before they get to you. So do the same to the PC. Just start the fight from 65m out. And as said here, have the pistaleer/commando/BH run up and tangle the enemy up in close combat so they can't come run up to your snipers.

Its both snipers are gonna be fighting to Sniper Shot the Incap player lol 
Besides I dont use Laser Rifles anymore I use my t21 with a Mind cost of 62 same as my old Laser Rifle.

Agreed, a pistol BH is has better long range accuracy than a rifleman at the moment.
When i started to be a Rifleman i knew i wanted to use the Laser rifle because of its high dmg capability and64m range modifier. It is essentially the weapon with the longestrange in the game and makes for a great sniperrifle.Withaccuracy skill attachments and a good dmg slice, you can make yourself pretty much unstoppable from a distance at master rifleman, and can almost garauntee to nevermiss.
There is only one thing that im concerned about;and that isSharpshooterPvP. It seems difficult to grasp the concept of a sharpshooter in PvP combat(because of their extreme vulnerability if seen),and in PvP there is no such thing as stealth because enemies can see you on their radar,even if you are 60-65 meters away under cover in a brush. It is possible to fight at master level however.So obviously they would have to fight in a group if they are not high levels.
This is why i think having about 2 laser rifle snipers in a group battle can be very helpful, because they can help take out key components of your enemies, like their combat medic. Since a sharpshooter's shots are directed towards the mind, a couple stacked bleed shots on medics along with a headshot3 from both snipers make any medic obsolete. Not to mention that if snipers do get attacked they can use dizzy or stun to halt the enemy's approach, or to stop the medic from running from their mind shots.
