Rifleman Archive

As with all riflemen, I die most often to melee enimies. So after getting killes to many times, i got so frustrated i turned off my computer and played a nice game of Halo. now before anybody goes bashing Halo or praising it. Its where i got this idea from.

Why not have a melle attack for the riflemen? Just one attack, The hit the enemy as hard as you can with the butt of the gun attack (couldnt think of a cool name sorry). It shouldnt do alot of damage, but perhaps have a small chance of knocking the enemy down, giving us some time to run,getting the thing into better range.

hate to say it but the pistoleers have a pistol whip, we should have a melle attack for those not so rare chances that an enemy get too close for us to shoot him.

pistol whip= pistol melee defense

rifle whip(?)= Rifle melee defense

i think that'd be a great idea but you could havea lower %age chance toknockdown than pistoleers (so they don't whine and get it nerfed. lets think ahead people!)and make the HAM cost Action instead of mind like normal rifle shots. I think that's a great idea!

p.s. did anyone see the Simpsons where snake was gonna "pistol wip" homer? and homer says mmmmmmmm pistol whip (cut to homer dream bubble of big tub o "Pistol whip!" like cool whip and he's eating it with a handgun) ???

In the army the term they use is Butt Stroke. It's part of hand to hand training and Bayonet training. Sure would be a nice KD for the rifleman so they could get away from the melee player.

What about an actual bayonet? That in itself I think would be pretty cool. Maybe have it as a powerup or something like that, that would help lower the 3x melee dmg we take.
