Has anyone got any tips on how to do this? I am seemingly loathed by every thug faction on Corellia, so if i walk too close to a spawn point for them, when on a hunt they will all immediately attack me. Sometimes they'll do this from behind, I just get the blue combat screen come up & watch all the little red dots line up behind me &Ijust have to keep running. I daren't stop & turn round because if they're melee mobs then I'm on my way to the cloning center . I'd be OK if I could only target them without having to turn round (well OK & if I can get away with the legendary stutter step).

And as a side note has anyone experienced the 10 meter punch yet? I think some of these mobs have Go Go Gadget Arms.

Any tips for a fellow rifleman would be greatly appreciated.

Drop chasecam, then move the cam around you, while you start moving backwards on the arrows on your keyboard. And when every thing is upside down (you will be running towards the screen with your front) You can target everything behind you.

Thanks for the advice, I think I follow you! I have one question is turning of the chase cam done by hitting alt? I guess also I'll need to use my arrow keys instead of my mouse to navifgate around!

I finally got the hang of this last night I think, though I did spend a lot of time lying on my back contemplating what I did wrong . I felt a bit masochistic, inviting things to come & attack me from behind but hopefully these harsh lessons will pay off in the long run!

Sorry to be dense here, but what is 'keypad ,' .... I dont have a comma on my keypad???

That's a bit unclear actually! I mean Numpad rather than keypad & to add to the confusion it may even be "." rather than "," but I can't be sure as I am on a laptop right now.

Thanks... I'll try Numpad-Dot (which appears on my keyboard also as Numpad-Del).
Also, since I am very curious about this and had never heard of it before your thread, can you make clear the steps for me also (I didnt follow exactly what the earlier posts meant... idiot that i am sometimes).

Lets say I'm running along minding my own business, when suddenly my combat window opens and ominous music starts coming from my speakers. I look down on the radar and there is a yellow or red dot following me (This actually happened a few days back when I unknowingly had a TEF on me.).

What sequence of keystrokes (arrows andNumpad-Dot) would allow me to target them while still running? (Lets use LeftArrow, RightArrow, UpArrow, DownArrow for reference names).

It's not you at all, it took me a while to understand because I use my mouse to move around and to do this you have to switch to the keyboard. It does, at least to me anyway, seem a little convoluted, personally I'd prefer it if the was a switch view 180degrees button. Anyway here goes.

When the blighters start coming up behind you, let go of the mouse and use the up arrow key (NOTthe one on the numpad). Now hit the ./del key on the numpad, this will toggle off the chase cam....now comes the tricky part...use the left or right arrow keys on the numpad to rotate the camara around your aviator 180 degs but at the same time switch from pressing the up button to the down button (the one NOT on your numpad). If you don't do this you will just end up running straight toward the oncoming baddies. Your aviator should now be running towards you, and you now able to see what is chasing it....tab, shoot, miss....as usual.

All clear now

I have not perfected this yet & maybe it is simpler than I am making it, so if anyone has a better way of doing this then please post. But I did get it to work!!
