Thread: Mind that Damage... Hang on... What's this?

6) Low Damage Output – Riflement feel that they have low damage output which makes them suffer in groups. Due to the length of time it takes to shoot, the targets are typically dead and the rifleman gets about 30% of the experience everyone else gets.

There are advantages to every class and the advantage of the rifleman is that mind damage generally can’t be healed in a battle.

I have read a post where Holo states Mind is not supposed to be thed decisive factor in PVP... This would invalidate the response from our designer on our low damage being out advantage because it targets mind (low damage - before master - SS2).

And this situation would become radically worse with mind healing... Not only does mind healing become possible, our minor advantage is lost and substantially increases our risks from our disadvantages... Increased damage while using a rifle in Melee etc....

I sacrificed Pistoleer to take Rifle, having an equal portion of Rifle I believed I would be fine... Instead, my death rate has climbed vastly, even though my tactics have move to optimum for rifle (open with a mindshot from the T21 and switch to the sliced/powered DL20a for headshots or the dizzy/suppression fire for a KD).

Warping mobs, low damage are bad enough... but we need some consideration before the mind heals come about.
