Thread: The 2.5x Damage modifier

I remember the pain leveling rifleman with the 2.5x melee modifier....those correlia butterflies kicked my ass

If we try to reinstate that modifier..dont you think 2.5 is still a bit much? wouldn 1.75 be better?

Re-instaled the 2.5X are you kiddin me?


I'm still working my way up to master rifleman, and if anything gets close to me, I'm in trouble.

Yeah, 2.5x was a bit much I'd say that 1.5 would be quite good to balance us out, however why not just have this activate at master? It's hard enough to lvl as it is so why screw the new guys.

The 2.5x modifier is NEEDED for the class. It will help out in the long run, even though its a pain to lvl with it. Lookin back now that im master i feel proud to have chosen the hard road of rifleman, and the 2.5x modifier makes our class more respectable and puts us up there with BH, and the other HARD proffesions.


Rifleman SHOULD be a hard long grind , cuz once u reach master your are Hella uber! But without a dmg modifier its unbalanced.


the dmg modifer MUST! be brought back. Maybe not as harsh, 2.0 maybe? but it MUST be brought back for the good of the class.


Devs should instead of making it hella ez for novice rifleman, !! fix our tools !! Example : Cover...Surpiseshot...Startleshot!


Fix these and re-instate the modifier and It will save our class from the nerf bat...


Remember what happend to CH, Commando's and other Flavor of the month classes!!!!!

What is "flavor of the month"-ing us it the stacking. DESPITE what you have heard this has still not been fixed. Focus on that first please before you crap-load us into dieing in one hit. There are other, MORE VIABLE, things you can do then that... increased damage as a function of the weapon you holdis the DUMBEST idea ever concieved.

They need to remove the defense stacking if they want the Matrix style PVP to stop. Everyone should pick a toon and name itfrom matrix and just become a stacker and then we can call it "Matrix Galaxies:The Game where you dodge/counter/miss everything" and everyone has the same template and fights last for 40 minutes because you miss 95% of your attacks.

Everyone just go this template and then it will sure to get nerfed we just need more people to see how badarse it really is.



Go: Master Rifleman / Master TKA with fencer 4/0/4/0 and you are NEO. Godly. Unstoppable. You will NEVER have to fight using TKA stuff. Just hold that Jawa rifle and watch and be amazed. Everyone I know in the game **edit** about these template everyday. SWG will either force everyone into one of these templates or nerf it.

no......I am saying IF we decide to reinstate the 2.5x modifier.....that I would be of oppinion that 2.5x would be too much. The road to master has become much easier then before, personally liked the challenge

It needs to be 5.5X if you want to avoid being speed capped.

catkins7005 5.5X melee modifier are u mad looking at ur signature u are a melee fighter being a master brawler and master swordman,i think uv been beaten by a few master rifleman a few times and are bitter. A rifleman should be able to hit with out a speed cap due to the fact that if somthing gets close to us we are **edit**ed as riflemen we need to hit quick and hard to have any chance of surviving.
