I've beenreading the forums for some time butI have never posted before so pleasebear with me.

Right now I'm rifle 4-2-4-3 and ranger 4-3-4-4, soon to be master in both, this will leave me with a whole 9 skill points to use. Would I be better picking up novice creature handler or maybe some basic marksman (pistol/carbine) to compliment my skills. These are my only 2 options.

Have you thought about picking up the Ranged Support brach in Marksman? It helps on accuracy alot if you can get it to Ranged Support IV. It also has some ranged/melee defenses thrown in there and Supression Fire (posture down attack)and Flurry Shot almost always KD NPCs.

I already have the ranged support line finished. The only things left for me in marksman are pistol 1-4 and carbine 1-4. I loveflurry shot.

Novice creature handler might be good. You could get up to a level 25 pet. I had a couple of level 25s with 8000 ham. You would never be able to tame something that high but you could have someone give it to you. It would also give you 2 more spots on your data pad to get up to 3 pets. I don't know what you would do, really high level mobs would tear your pet apart. A pet of that level can help you level up in rifle so that would help. Also most of the pets of that level are pretty big on the screen. This didn't used to be a problem but for some reason they changed the code with the last patch. Pets now stand directly on top of you, if it's a big pet you can't see because half of your pet is in your way.
