I just decided to take up Rifleman again, I had leveled 3332 when I first started SWG when it came out. I am a pistoleer and a medic now. I will be dropping medic as needed and want to keep pistol.
Does anyone have Rifleman+Pistoleer, how good is it? I thought the sniper shot would be nice, aswell as the strafe shot for mind. Then when they get up close whip out my pistol.
Template: Master Rifleman, Master Pistoleer, Dirty Fighting (Am Master Marksman right now, will have to drop Master Marksman to fit in last column in Dirty Fighting)

sounds really good to me. MRM is hard enough to hit, than add the dodge mods.... sweeeeet. of course it wont matter after the mod stacking is gone, but you could have alot of fun with it in the mean time. forget doing dirty fighting, unless you have an extraodinarily nice pistol, once you hit master rifle, you probably wont want to use your pistol, hehe. plug those extra skill points into tka or fencer (fencer ranged/melee defense column) (tka defense column and/or meditation column)
... now that i think of it this is one kick ass template ...!
(im assuming this template is for PvP)

MRM and TKM here. Gotta tell you that when I hit MRM, I barely use my fists or VK's anymore. I may pop it out when a duel runs into a cantina. A lot of folks seem to like to hide in cities and bldgs when SS2 fires. Thats when you run in and use your fists.

Oh well, see you learn something new everyday. I was going to try to figure out a way to squeeze in the meditation tree.

What about Rifleman/CH? Letting the pet tank and hitting from 60 meters out sounds like a plan I could dig.

only for pve, in pvp, your opponents choose what they shoot

ok I was able to squeeze in the Meditation tree from TKA. At the sacrifice of the whole carbine tree and the last Ranged Support column.

I was a CH rifleman for a little bit. CH is kind of good for rifleman, but there is a catch. Right now due to defense stacking a pet will have little chance to hit anything, but before any of these templates were found out, and most people were not masters CH and rifle went together nicely. I would do my AoE random damage pool attacks and send my pet on the target. The enemy would shot at me while running from my pet. Even if they ran they would take damage from my pet, and even if I was incapped they would still take damage from my pet. With a good pet they will save you quite a few times, but I wouldn't go for CH until defense stacking is gone.
