I'm not new to the boards this is just my first post. I never really post because I never found a topic to really share my views on. Except all these topics about the Rifleman profession....

First off, I am a Rifleman, and proud of it. I hate pistoleer, its so boring and whack, EVERY ONE THEIR MAMA HAS IS A PISTOLEER, which totally ruins the fun for me. All I hear is moaning and groaning from some of you guys, c'mon now. I first wanted to become a Rifleman ever since my friend started out as one. Loved the guns, dmg, tactics, just the whole idea of the sniping. I dunno WUT THE HELL the people complaining about dmg are talking about. Me and my friend go out hunting all the time, and I love to see him pvp. Not to brag, but he kills people in 2 shots max, half the time 1 hit kills. Its pretty exciting...and fast, to see. I know this new speed cap or wutever might change some things for master riflemen, and i agree it will be harder on us. Wut they really need to do is just make master rifleman worth it. Add something, add accuracy since the speed cap eliminated the speed masters get, just something worth it.

Of course, the devs are most concered about Pistoleers and BH, why? Like i said, every and there mom is a pistoleer or BH. SO wut do they need to fix first? The professions everyone is of course. Is it right? No, it sux.

Lets wait it out. I for one will be staying a Rifleman for a long time, until they totally get rid of it, no not nerf it to hell, get rid of it in all. For those of you who find it frustrating or the whiners, by all means its ok to leave, see you around with all the other pistoleers running around.I like to be original, wut can i say...

Peace.

Or do all novice swordsmen miss 10 times in a row, hit once then miss 5 more times? I'm 0/1/1/2 and using a Power Hammer (don't have stst on it right now). Should I be using something else? Thanks for the help.

Yes, you should be using a Two Handed Curved Sword. You will get around +7 to all range mods rather than around -30.

yes the curved rocks....but if your an Imperial liek me to to Emperors Retreat and to the emporers missions...he will give you this nasty sword with bleeding hits......its nasty as long as a slicer slices its attack speed...but really Power Hammers, Vibro Axes, and Two handed cleavers suck compared to a good old tw-handed curved

I am an idiot, tell everyone. I looked at damage when I dropped the curved sword for the hammer. Christ, I'm making beginner mistakes again. Thanks guys.

Power Hammer works better once you're 0404 for the speed and accuracy.

PHs only suck for noob swordsmen. Vibro axes all suck. Cleavers have their time and place...

Before they "fixed" the bleeds, the missing didn't matter so much. Now I'll hit them with a weak @$$ bleed and still miss every other shot. At least before, while I was missing them, the bleed was doing it's job and I would get lucky and hit at least one of my head hits and kill them. It took me 20misses to kill one durni last night. Good news is I switched to a cleaver, but I think I like my curved sword better.

Again, thanks for all the help and advice.

the two hand axe, the cleaver, or the curved sword, use the one you like the look and feel of untill you get techniques IV. that way you have the speed to weild the powerhammer a bit more effectively, as well as by that time you may have, or be close to getting finesse III, and the powerhammer will be a better weapon to use, (even at master you may end up missing 3 to 6 attacks or more, but not as often as at novice)
