Thread: Newbie Rifleman Mindshot Stacking and Other Questions

Before I start, let me get the apologies out of the way: I'm a complete newbie to this game.2 weeks old to be precise. So if the question I'm about to ask is a bit *DOH!* then please be merciful!
I am just embarking on the journey to Master Rifleman - currently 1-0-0-0. I have just obtained MindShot 2 as a skill and want to know whether it stacks with MindShot 1.
Also, is there a page where I can find stats and effects for rifleman skills explained?
Lastly, based on some advice I read somewhere here, I tried to hunt some quenkers the other day. Solo. I think it's fair to say I got taken to pieces. My headshots do up to about 1200 damage. How are you people attacking these critters? I have been trying to stay out of sight, pick a single critter, use Mindshot 1 and then headshot after headshot with warning shot every time they get too close. Is there something I'm missing here?

Okies, before the latest patch (publish 6) mind shots did indeed stack, however this has now been changed to them not stacking and only one, the one you used most recently taking affect. The damage of bleeds has also been reduced.
Secondly for hunting savage quenkers one should go prone at over 40m, when prone and at this distance or over you can shoot three shots before them aggroing you, dont bother with a bleed this will make them aggro when the first and bleed takes affect.
Also, try looking at the FAQ at the top of the board for more tips. Have fun, its a great profession.
