Thread: Being a wookie riflmen in pvp is hard as hell

Man, us wookies have it bad, we cant wear armor, we are easily hit in the head and get incapped from using our own attacks. It sucks, and on top of that im imperial so the faction perks suck as well. God they need to fix rifleman so we can get like 2k mind or something, or atleast give us low encumb armor or somethin to lower attack dmg.

Actually i was thinking they should make a special Wookie class or something.
But then wed see more wookies than kreetles so never mind

I agree the Armour issue is a big kick in the behind at the moment but it just means as a Wookiee you have to be one step ahead of your opponent. Good Doc Buffs, Food and Entertainer buffs are a must for us. If you can get a working PSG it helps a bit.
Faction perks ( Troopers and AT-ST's ) are nigh useless against a large force of players anyway, they'll just get taken out in no time anyway by the PVP'ers who know what they are doing. I wouldn't bother spending my FP's on them if I were you, advance your rank.
I know in PVP I die just as many times as I kill, that's about as good a hit/kill ratio I can get as a Wookiee.. I don't expect much more than that. Once Wookiee armor is implemented I'll have to see how I go

Being a wookiee rifle isn't that bad. While our mind can get up to 1.1k, our focus and will can only get up to 650ish, but then again we still can have 1k health and 850 action, just means that we need food more than other riflemen, but its not neccesary for health and action buffs. But worst thing about no armor IMO is no armor attachments... another problem with being wookiee is not being able to use most of the things that can be looted such as robes and what not is also very anoying. we coudl really use some wookiee specific loot. And since i m Doc and good friends with a master chef i do very well in pvp.

combat in general is hell for a wookiee, you don't see the real difference until you try another race and then you end up hating yourself for picking wookiee for all the wrong reasons. When I think of going into a wookiee battle rage having a +50 to my mind pool before getting blown to bits doesn't fit into the picture.
