Thread: The Quenkers are after me!!! =)

Has anyone noticed this lately--> I'll have my pet attack the lair and the 2nd mob out will come straight for me! (I'm not attacking the lair, just theones that come out. Andit's not the one that I attack that comes at me) Did they get smarter in the last few days, 'cause they weren't doing this earlier in the week...


I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this or if I've just starteddoing something wrong.

For the lairs...hit it once - peace...wait for those few to come out. Kill them, shoot again ONCE - pause...they'll come out again and wont attack you.


Don't use the pets...

In my extensive genocide of quenkers I've noticed that to bring the second spawn from the lair it is sufficient to hit once and pause. Getting the third spawn to appear usually required getting the lair down to 50% health. I've also noticed that when I had mask scent and I was prone I could get 4 shot off on a quenker before it would start coming for me. Its friend would never be the wiser.

Yeah, I've had to start being careful and pulling them with single shots. It's not a huge deal or anything, I was just wondering if anyone else had noticed this change. It was so much nicer to just let my pet go at their nest while I picked them off one by one.

the final "boss" mob (doenst even have to be that strong) always owns me when it aggros me right away. Im a rifleman so i can't kite it or tackle it at close range.... i need those 3 shots while prone

and conceal helps alot to take them on 1 on 1 without being agroed.

General breakdown of ALL creature lairs..


--No damage done to lair-- Lair will have creatures spawned already, if those creatures are killed most lairs will spawn a new set of creatures. Usually up to 3 waves without doing damage to the lair. Some lairs, like savage quenker lairs, only spawn 1 wave unless you logout and come back without damaging the lair.


--Lair hit 1 time or is greater than 60% health-- Another wave of creatures will spawn. These creatures will cause damage to the lair as they spawn. This seems to happen for all creature lairs.


--Lair at or below 50% health-- The final wave of creatures will spawn. These creatures will cause damage to the lair as they spawn.


--Lair at or below 75% health-- A "boss" mob has a chance to spawn. Some lairs appear to wait until lair destruction before Boss mobs spawn. Boss mobs always attack you when they spawn.



note: Creatures sometimes heal lairs. This does not effect the spawns. If you have tapped the lair once and it is healed back to full you will have to get it to 50% before more will spawn.
