So, I've heard varying things on this, and want some clarification.

Mind shot. It is a DoT attack that comes in two levels, called Mind Shot1 and Mind Shot 2. Cool I'm with you. Mind Shot 1 you get earlier, but it is weaker than Mind Shot 2. Still there. They both take around the same time to damage and last about the same, I believe. I'm still with you.

So, question is: Can I put MS1 and MS2 on a target at the same time, so he receives damage from BOTH Mind Shots? Or can I only have one at a time on any single target? If so, I assume Mind Shot 2 would be the better option.

Thanks for the help,

You can stack them both on one opponent.

I can't say for sure that this is wrong, however I do question it, I know 100% that 2 different DoT style attacks from the other ranged types do NOT stack. As far as the same line stacking I have my doubt's.

I can say with 100% certainty that Mindshot1 and Mindshot2 stack. I do this to Jaxes all the time.

Hit them for 400 damage with MS1.
Hit them for 1000 damage with MS2.
See them take a 400 damage tick.
See them take a 1000 damage tick.

Also, I'm pretty sure that MS2 has more ticks in it than MS1. I haven't really looked at this, just an impression.

Incidentally, I'm pretty sure that MS1 and MS2 also stack with the Swordsman mind DOT, though I haven't specifically tested this.

For the record, there's no reason to do this in PvP, since MS2 alone is enough to kill anyone.

Currently I am a Polearm/Medic planning on going doctor.

With the current changes, I get the feeling that any melee are now *cough*ed

So, I'm thinking of switching to rifle, the question I have is, what boxes should I aim at, ... I won't have enough to master it, only enough to buyone and a half "trees" (23 points) possibly 32 if I drop support in marksman, but I think that is unwise. Any suggestions as to what I should go for?

if i were you id wait a little longer to see how SOE handles the rest of the rifleman issues, at this point it, it seems as if only goin as far as 23 sp would end up leavin your avartar worse off then the points you currently have in polearm. If your intent on becoming rifleman with only 23sp then my advice is to sit and wait for all the changes to be completed and to see if how it has affected the class

bounty hunter huh??

conceal shot helps with doing marks.

speed is most important then accuracy. you probably wont be using it for PVP outside master. if you PVP your better off sinking some into medic and the rest in another skill like carbine or pistol

Do you have Novie Riflemen yet? If not, then I'd go 4003. This gives you HS3, Sniper Shot, Flurry Shot 2, Plenty of aiming bonus, and plenty of speed bonus.

If you already have Novie Riflemen (and thus don't need to spend 6 SP on it) then I'd go 4104 which gives you everything above, more speed, and Ranged damage mitigation I.

Of course there's the arguement to pick up Conceal shot for PvE...

dont waste your time with rifleman if you are not going to master, they suck. Everything in BH is better, your eye shots are much better than non master rifleman's headshots, your dizzy is much better than our flurry, you have KD, etc..
