Thread: TKA and rifleman profession combination... thoughts??

I don't think this template will be affected by the stacking nerf. All they have said is hard caps. Neither of these profession have either high defenses or defenses that stack with each other. Rifleman has Block (as does Pikeman, not TK). The ones that will for sure be nerfed are like the Pistollers/Fencers since they both have Dodge and it gets real high and others like Carbineers/Sworsdman with Counterattack.

Just wonderg how many TKA rifleman are out there who PvP and how well is this combination working for you guys. Do the various skills make good combos? Or is another profession besides TKA something to consider in PvP????

I like it, it's fun. Also mastered brawler for 20 sec warcry and 20m unarmed lunge. Even if they take away my defenses with a rifle equippped, it would still be fun. Great for PvE as well, now i have kinetic damage, even if it is AP0.

Its still a good combo, Unarmed headhit, THen there is always the dreaded KD,Dizzy, Unarmed hit 3, unarmed spin 2. those are all the right side of my pvp bar
along with knucklers and some burn out, On the left 8 is a macro for strafe2+flushing2. both bleeds then HS2's. sniper shot macro w/ taunt. Snipershot without taunt, Below those 4 macros are the strafe2, my jawa, my laser, and headshot2. the middle section is for a stim, food, drink, spice. top row is meditate, center of being, force of will, Power boost

It's so strong it's disgusting. I was Rifles/TKA/fencer a while ago, and I recently dropped it all for BH simply because it was embarrassingly overpowered and I felt like I was cheating whenever I played with it.

I am that template. Adv strafe while their KDed rocks- usually one hit incap. I love my template , and have owned alot more with it then back in my expert bh/gun fighter days.

You're ignoring ranged and melee defense which are just as important as dodge and block and all those. As saep above said, get rifle, tka, fencer and you have an insanely powerful character because those defenses DO STACK. When I was simply TKM, Master Fencer, tusken captains missed me 75% of the time. Get master rifle, TKM, fencer 4/4/0/0 and your defenses are insane .. like 95% penalty to-get-hit ranged and 93% penalty to-get-hit melee. With the 2nd line of fencer you get +50 KD defense basically making you nearly impossible to hit *and* if they manage to hit, nearly impossible to knock down.
I saw a master rifleman missing a wookie who just downed me about 60-70% of his shots. He was not out of range, he was at a decent range and snuck up on the wookie, just simply couldnt hit him. Iknow the wookie was TKM, master rifle, and I suspect he had the fencer defenses added to that.

Right. The guy was asking about Rifle/TKM combo. As in, not Fencer. You took it one step further. TKM+Rifle will most likely not have their defenses nerfed, they are not that high. Add something else and it's a different story....

TKM/rifleman will get hit. it just wont be as noticable cause they stacks aren't as high.
i like the combo but am tkm and only 2002 rifles at the moment. tkm is great solo and rifles is great when grouped so i dont hog all the exp. pvp both have a nice punch. and since most ppl now wear 80 kinetic armor the heavy ap of the t21 is a nice addition.
