ok what im working on right now is becoming a swordman... im currently a Rifleman with a t21(the good ones lol).... but ok i was look for soemthin for close combat and i saw that Swordman did hits like headshot and mind shot like Rifleman....so ive started to use them together but i wanted to no if thats a pretty good combo to use against npc/creatures and in pvp....

what ive been doing for pvp.... is use my t21 for mind shot/headshot if im far enuff away.... but for most cases i use my spraystick to get off a couple head shots then when they reach me i pull out the my 2handed curved sword.. it works most of the time but theres still many ppl that still rape me lol...

lol if yall are really feeling nice maybe could some1 xplain what armor would be good for me

I had the same template a month ago, and it works on paper...

BUT you get hit MUCH harder holding that rifle/spraystick than while holding your sword/hammer. If you're able to heal yourself decently and switch weapons in the blink of an eye then yeah, that sounds great and worked great for me.

I dropped rifleman so I could go master brawler (for the knockdown and stats). For my play experience, I want to be a pure melee character (even if I'm gimped atm )

Brent, it might be a good idea to pick up TKA to go along with ur rifleman profession. U can defend urself when things come close with KD, dizzy and target every ham pool u want. Also u can heal disease, bleed, poison, wounds with meditate.

It's not a bad combo. What I've been doing lately is pulling with mindshot2 and mindshot3, then just get in a few normal hits for some rifle XP. When the creature closes in I switch to my powerhammer and put the swordsman mind bleed on it and start hitting it in the head.

All 3 mind bleeds can be applied at the same time and they will stack.

However, you need good mind stats to do this... high focus and willpower. Rifle kinda sucks right now because of the amount of mind damage you'll take just firing the stupid gun, and no medic can heal your mind pool, so if you pull with some headshots and the creature hits you in the head a couple times, you're toast.

I honostly think pistols or carbines would be a better choice for swordsman, and just ignore the head attacks. You really can't afford to be blowing your limited mind pool by using rifleman moves.

I was a Master Doc/Master TKA. But I dropped Doc and went for Master RIfle's. It was tuff to drop Doc but it's not tuff to get Buffs. I just wanted better Ranged and Meele defences, and to do good in PvP.

To answer your question, go into any PvP battle. Over 50% of the participants are Riflemen/TKMs. It the FOTM combo because its
incredibly powerful.

I must say I didn't master tk/rifleman because everyone else was doing it. What I thought was why not combine both of the best elite class's into a template. I do mostly use my rifleman in PVP more than my tk.

I am currently working on a Master Rifle/Master Pike (why not?) with a little medic and scout for terrain negotiation, harvesting, and healing. So far I have been lucky and have not been DB'd YET! (No PVP). The defense stacking is about to be nerfed so I figured to try two different classes that were new to me.

my combo is insanely good... swords and rifle both attack mind so you dont have to change pools when they get in close... with the counteratttack mods from swordsman and the hammers blast damage to take out atst's and turrets... throw some headshots from my krayted (468 max dam)ion rifle... it is extremely fearsome... i eat thakatilloand the only combos i can't beat are defense mod stackers which are now extinct. it does ake a little skill however to coordinate all the specials between the three which i enjoy thoroughly.

I agree with Kungfuemo, Mastering Rifleman/Swordsman/Brawler is a great combo.

One of my favorite PvP experiences was going into a base after two enemy PCs. I killed the first one with the Hammer. The second one, a TK, got a Dizzy KD on me, but because I was buffed, armored, and had my CenterofBeing going, he could not do enough damage to me before the Dizzy wore off. Because I wasabout to get up and others were coming to get him, he took off. Right as he left, the Dizzy wore off. I calmly got up, pulled out the Jawa, jogged outside, and popped a few mindshots into him and snipershotted him to get the DB.

For PvE, it is awesome. The amount of damage you can do as both a rifleman and a swordsman is awesome, especially since you can keep attacking the same targeted pool whether they are near or far.

The build does not have as high of defenses as other mixes, but on offense, it kicks butt.
