I'm looking for a good combination of moves to invoke during PVE (mostly animals).

What do you guys use for lower level combinations .. i.e. Rifleman with a couple of 1 or 2 trees

and what do you use for higher level combatinations .. i.e. mostly 3 and 4 trees complete?

I've been making some very nice XPon Dantooine working with a friendwho is doingunarmed. He's been tanking (lol) while I lie prone at 50 or 60 m with a good laser rifle and spam head shot 2's. We are both getting nice XP as we are doing nice damage to two different stat pools. I'm now 0-0-0-1 rifleman so any advice would be great as well as recommendations on which trees to climb first.

Get concealment I first. The Conceal Shot is perfect for solo animals

I know your using friend to tank but if you ever want to solo and get the xp for your self, here's how

I used this set up to solo the picket lairs on dant. 30k average per lair 15 mins to do each lair, so if you can pull this off. leveling should go quickly.

Medic 0040 (used to heal myself if in trouble and to heal pet after each round of 3 pickets)

CH 2200( I used a greater sludge panther but all you need is something with good kinetic resist. 8k HAMwas enough)

With this set up its reletivly easy to solo the lairs. Get 60m out with a decent laser and send your pet in to attack a picket try to do them one at a time if you can but if you cant and all three attack your pet. you may have to stop once in a while to heal pet. Thats why 0040 medic nice becuase with stim d's you only need 3 or 4 heals to restore full strength to pet and can go back out 60m and keep plugging. You can use mind shot then spam head 2. it may take awhile but it will work. Once you get enough xp go up the sniper tree first or at least get 2000 before anything else. that way You can use Mind 2 and Head 3 will will go a little quicker. Then level everything else. Conceal is nice but i never used it since pet tanked anyways. Flushing is also nice and some say its quicker to get xp. but first hit mind bleed and then use whatever to plugg away at the pickets. After initial 3 are gone. heal up pet and hit the lair once and repeat all over again. When those gone. Heal hit lair to half gone and let the pickets that pop out aggro your pet and then plugg away at those. when those gone its easy. finish lair

9 pickets each lair = 27k xp

1 lair = 5k xp

Not to bad

Oh yeah pickets are nice becuase they dont DB

Thanks guys for the good advise.

I've been experimenting quite a bit with different weapons, ranges, tactics, etc. Likewise, I've been hunting a lot of Savage Q's and Picket's on Dantooine. I made over 200K xp last night on my 3 hr 15 min buff (I'm Master Doc so that helps). Is that about standard XP?

I had been using a 4ish speed Laser with excellent damage, but I decided to switch over to a really fast SprayStick as I could bleed and then spam headshot 2 as quick as I could click. The range is about 30m on the spraystick and it rarely misses if you kneel. Now that buffs have been fixed, I'm consistently buffing all 6 hams for 2K and with 2/49 filling 400ish brandy's you can go all night on the rifle specials. As soon as I have to go solo, I'll buff my good kinetic resist pet and let him continue to tank for me.

I'm currently 1-0-0-1 with plans of hitting 2-0-0-1 next. I'll start on the concealment line after that. I like the idea of the higher damage shots with headshot3.
