Rifleman Archive

Hi all,

I just mastered Doc, and I am currently a TKM, but i dont feel starwarsish with my VK!! So i was thinking of going Rifleman, But i hear it can be a bad move cause of the lack of defense you get from just rifleman.. I was wondering if you Rifleman/Docs out there could comment and give me some insight into pvp and pve. Thanks much!

Agree. It is a good combo only bad thing about is when you get KDed you mostly can kiss your ass goodbye since we dont have any kd defense

You're wrong there. Personally, I believe that Rifleman is one of the best professions in the game, and doctor makes it even better. In PvE, you can do tons of damage with the large variety of weapons that we have, andin PvP, rifleman is the best profession other than jedi. I PvP on Starsider as a Rifleman/Doctor, and I do very well for myself.I can hit mind from long range, buff myself, buff resistance to poisons, cure states (including dizzy), cure poisons, disease, and flames. This template is my personal favorite for both PvP and PvE. Also, rifleman feels more like you are a real part of the Star Wars galaxy because you are actually using a blaster rifle. Good luck.

For pve, you can't go wrong with rifleman/doc but pvp is a whole other story. Because of all the wonderful overt jedi running around, you almost have to have a melee profession or you will be food for jedi sadly
