make sure you have an accurate rifle - always look at your rifle and determine best range and be at that.
if you can get it get the aim command from marksmen and do this
1/prone;
2/aim;
3/aim;
4/aim;
5/shotofchoice;
repeat 2-5 for each shot... they will be slow but they will hit
this should make you hit much more often

you could also try buying some citros snow cake, I believe it adds 40% accuracy which should be a pretty significant increase.

If buffed [I assume you are, everyone on Dant is] I would reccomend getting 0100 and then using ConcealShot. Doesnt do nearly the damage as your more powerful shots, and of course hits a random pool, but the longer they dont detect you, the longer you can stay at an ideal range, instead of point blank range.
If you dont already have Rifleman X1XX, try going to the Blueleaf Temple on Yavin 4 [it's a POI], This is a VERY ranged-friendly location as most targets have their own ranged attack so often wont bother closing to melee range with you [especially once you're IN the temple].
Once you have concealshot. Again it does less damage than Headshot2 or Headshot3 but its going to be faster than /aim /aim /aim /Headshot and still hit more often.
Of course once you're up the accuracy tree, this probably wont matter. Riflemen get good accuracy and speed bonuses in the end.

Although horrible accuracy (Especially close up) and horrible speed early on... if you can get a full set of composite armor and then buff's, go to dantooine and take regular quenker missons. Then use point blank area 1.
Yes, you wont hit much, yes it will take a while, but i have found it takes much less attention (So you can do something while leveling [i did my homework]) and it actually does it somewhat fast.... compared to other things you can do.
Understand, i would never attempt this unless i was 0004 Riflemen... this helped.... and then i found a massive improvement when i got the dxr06-b 0024.
Good luck!

if you miss three times with conceal shot they always spot you and you will miss as you do not have the accuracy to hit.

well i went about doing riles again on a new toon like this...
marksman 0-4 i used a nice dtla20 point blank area1...
once i got the 4th box of marksman, i got a couple e11'sm sliced them (got lucky and got one speed and one dam),,,
if i was smart i woulda gotten to countersniping 2 first but i did 3/0/0/1 (needed some combat exp for SL)... used the e11 the whole time (its faster than the laser and hits consistant damage) point blank area 1 for most of it... now i'm 3/0/3/1 useing the drx-6b and although its slow i still make decent exp... alone its one flushing shot 2 then point blank area1... or in a group (hehehe SL after all) its straight flushingshot 2...
the rest is just waiting till i get more speed...
does anyone know if you can still use grandes for combat exp??? use to work with bleeds (before they nerfed them) and great on lairs...

I did Rifleman on TC with conceal shot: long and boring as hell
I did it on Eclipse in less than two days: if you can afford a good armor and food (novice medic is also fine, but I made it without it), get a fast laser rifle then a disruptor when you can use it, go to Dantooine and take Savage Quenkers and Hurtoon Stalkers missions... go to the lair, target it and spam /pointblankarea1 until everything is dead, then move on to the next mission..
I've been told that the fastest way to grind rifleman is to go to the bottom of the geno cave and use area-cone attack on all the mobs down there with a Swordsman or such tanking them for you, though this is not always an option..

gloves - boots - chest - helmet comp... 80% kinetic.... get a laser rifle or dxr-6b and use pointblankarea1 on the lair.... took me 7 hours to grind rifleman from novice
