when they have exceptional beside their name they are exceptionally rare(big surprise right? )... Legendary is even more rare(probably 100x as rare!(also only one legendary of each weapon type per server at any one time...).
Figure you will have to kill 5k-100k of NS or krayt dragons or other high level mob if you are trying to loot one yourself. (yes 5000-100000 of them....) you can be lucky and get one with much less work but generally if you intend to loot one... figure on weeks and weeks of killing high level mobs non stop.
exactly, i hate seeing legendary and exceptional weapons mounted in houses collecting dust.

I don't see the point of hanging an exceptional or legendary weap no matter how good they are or how much they decay. If I ever got an exceptional or legendary I'd bust it out and kick some ass. Sure it will decay eventually but it'll be alot of fun while it lasts, alot more fun than it sitting on a wall for people to ohh and ahh at. Just my view on em.
Or sell it, the way I look at it, its a game, object is to be succesful, well there is now way a gun is helping any by sitting in a house.
