Thread: Sweete Youngthing needs help .....plz, what is up with the 'respec'

I don't get online very often toplay (school, work, etc) but I LOVE this game. Haven't had time to follow the threads/forum much either....
I am currently a MDoc / MRiflewoman - anyone know if I will be able to "respec" to MRiflewoman / MBH without having to grind for a year? All this novice, standard, elite pts crud......
In the short time I have had to read the forums I've seen conflicting posts as to how the "respec" is going to work.

No definitive answers for you yet, Sweete. Even the Correspondents haven't receive dthe straight goods yet, to the best of our knowledge, except to say (at a high level) that elite skills will convert to elite skills, novice skills to novice skills. Fortunately for you, I thinkyou'll have more than enough Prereq skills from Doc to transfer over to Scout, etc. for BH. In other words, you should be fine...
... but noone knows with 100% certainty yet.

as Kundo says - no idea yet
but if you want to try it out see if you have a character on any of the non ep3 testcenters and load into it - should give you the option to respec. Try it out and then give feedback about what is good and what is bad about it.

It will work. my char was Mrifleman/CM 4004/doc 0340 can i could respec to MBH/Mrifle. if you want to test this out go to tc-e3 go to the frog make your Mrifleman/Mdoc. make sure you you made your temp the way it was pre cu..like haveing medic masterd. thean do /ui action skillsRespec.

There is talk on the bh forum that the invest line of bh will not be a free respec. You may want to consider grinding it out via factional bases, up to you.

Thanks to everyone for the info. Sounds generally positive.....though as many of you stated - until the devs get their collective behinds in order.....we just don't know.
