No, not a mistake, that's what you can expect. They are lvl 40 weapons now, and with "ub3r" versions supposed to be around 15% better than crafted, they'll still be far inferior to master-level crafted weapons like the T21 and Assault Bowcaster.

Utterly ridiculous, when you consider that for almost a year, DXR-6b Disruptor Rifles have been certed above T21s, required a schematic and loot from the Geonosian Caves, and were perhaps the most-used rifles in PvP (along with the T21 and the Jawa).

DXR-6bs should be level 50 or 54, with the appropriate damage (and acid elemental damage).

I don't disagree. See the Rifles Cert Levels thread for a map of what rifles appear where, (although I have to doublecheck the elemental damages on them, since some are not showing up on the frogs, apparently).

Its a badly designed system.

One of the key aspects of the CU (in my mind) was to make all non-basic weapons have a tactical purpose. Whilst you would have weapons that were hard hitting you might also have weapons with very low action costs or different primary damage types. But all the weapons would have a purpose so we'd not all be running around with T21s alone.

With the CU system we have now the weapons certed at master are simply superior in every respect to weapons certed below them. If you can use a T21 there will never be a good reason to use an E11, jawa or DXR6 as they all do less damage, even with elemental damage included.

There will be NO diversity in rifleman weapons, we will all be using T21s and Advanced Laser Rifles unless we're wooks then we can use Assault Bowcasters too.

  • Changed conversion table so that the top 5% of current weapons are in the 100 to 120% of crafting max range.

  • this means that your rifle will be within 20% of the max range of quality for a weapon of that teir

As things stand currently, there's no reason for this - without elemental damage, a DXR is just another energy weapon. I'm more concerned that one of the kinetic rifles be moved up to master level. But the above poster is right - the non-master rifles are only useful when levelling, and there does not appear to be any reason (so far, anyway- speed and action costs may well be different in live than they are on the frogs) to use a non-master weapon once you are certed for them.

I like my DXR its not the best but it has a more rifleman feel. The T21 kinda does the whole sniper look but the DXR is more or a front line rifleman looking weapon...(( kinda like a M16 or some thing look))
