Consider grabbing a little BH or Carbineer, they both have nice AoE cone attacks that look real nice blasting out of a T21

Well, I am a CH and probally always will be.
Maybe going with carbineer and CH instead of rifleman.

If you have enough points, you can pick up the 4th tree of pistoleer to add improved stopping shot (rooting attack) and improved fanshot (aoe cone) to your repertoire, plus some handy mods. Should be able to stay Rifle/CH and add that tree...

Yeah it works well. I've been using that on the test server. Something to keep in mind about cone attacks now though. Not all targets within the cone take the same damage. Your targetted mob will take full damage, the others in the cone will take much less.

According to the pistoleer correspondent all targets take the same from their AOE. Otoh if you use a commando weapon (as per Starnick) for the AOE then the main target takes full and the secondaries only take the elemental effect (between 11-20%)
