Today's patch increased the action cost for specials and weapons. Here arethe % Action Costs for Marksman and Rifleman specials using a Frog T21 with 122 Action Cost.
Special - %ActionCost
Ranged Shot - 8%
Placed Shot - 12%
Aimed Shot - 18%
Aim - 4%
Improved Head Shot - 18%
Improved Kneecap Shot - 24%
Advanced Startle Shot - 22%
Advanced Sniper Shot - 28%
Overcharge Shot - 25%
Dive Shot - 18%
Roll Shot - 18%
Kip-Up Shot - 18%
Firearm Strike - 15%
Dive Shot - 18%
Roll Shot - 18%
Kip-Up Shot - 18%
Firearm Strike - 15%
Please note I was not in a position to take Cover and try Improved Conceal Shot. When I do I will add that cost as well.

im finding it tough to kill blue conn mobs now.. level 78 manticore took me to pieces as i was constantly low on action and couldnt attack fast enough to keep up with its insane health regen rates..
using ranged shot only means you loose 1% of your pool overall between shots (difference between the cost.. and the amount of action regained between firing cycles of that special).. so you should get around 100 shots off till you get those lovely "too tired" or "you dont have enough pool points" messages. but then those are really rubbish damage shots and you have a time out damaging even a lvl60's health regen...
this is using 122 rifles also.
edit: concealshot used 25% action. and the mob still homed straight in on me making it useless still...

wow the advanced sniper shot is pretty punishing at 28% of your action bar. That means even with regen going you might get 6 or 7 off (might).
This is a good arguement for allowing it to work undercover! (off to fight some more)
