This will be my ongoing effort to write down all the damage modifyers, and hopefuly speed modifyers for ranged weapons.
All ranged attacks work with rifles, and i am testing them with a T21 on a person in a duel with armor.
The damage modifyer is calculated by damage done (min and max if applicable) divided by the damage of the regular ranged shot. (which is basically the default attack but it costs action points as well)
Critical Shot
damage modifyer: 2.46-2.74 (this was only one so farthat had varying damage amounts)
damage #: 227-252
Snipe Shot
damage modifyer: 4.91
damage #: 452
Startling Shot
damage modifyer: 2.16
damage #: 199
Aimed Shot
damage modifyer: 1.73
damage #: 159
Body Shot
damage modifyer: 2.01
damage #: 185
Dive Shot
damage modifyer: 1.29
damage #: 119
Placed Shot
damage modifyer: 1.587
damage #: 146
regular "ranged" shot
damage modifyer: 1.00
damage #: 92
So, this is all i got before the test server went down on me (i had like 11minutes to test this much)
SECOND SET OF TESTING IN YELLOW!
the person who i was testing with was wearing armor that was about 58% to energy except it didnt have a head piece. so you will also see how much recon armor affects a T21. shots that hit her head are in parenthases.
FOR HER: a ranged shot did 122 (261 on head)(so that is the # it is in relation to)
Confusion Shot
damage modifyer: .75
Damage #; 87-97
Kip-up Shot
damage modifyer: 1.27
Damage #; 153-157 (335)
Overcharge Shot
damage modifyer: 1.86
Damage #; 227 (484)
Eye Shot
damage modifyer: 1.15
Damage #; 139-144 (298-302)
Fan Shot
damage modifyer: 2.00
Damage #; 244
Head Shot
damage modifyer: 2.66
Damage #; (671-695) remember, all head shots hit her head which is unarmored
Knee-Cap Shot
damage modifyer: .845
Damage #; 102-104
Torso Shot
damage modifyer: 2.28
Damage #; 274-281 (599)
If you have anymore information, plz post it here, ill look at it and add it when i can. my next goal is to write down what states they put on and such.
I know that many of these are not rifleman specials, but they are all used by rifles so they are ALL important in my view. ranged professions will now work off each other.

Man, am I glad there are people like you who will test this stuff out! So, thumbs up to you my friend.
I love Star Wars. I'm a huge fan. That's the ONLY reason I still play the game.
But, a person can only be willing to go so far for something that has the "Star Wars" label on it if it does not in fact live up to the expectations a fan of Star Wars would have of a Star Wars associated product.
For example, I might buy some Star Wars cereal. But, if it tastes like crap I would not buy it again. If it was just mediocre, I might buy it every once in a while. But, if it was tasty and somewhat nutritional I would but it over another brand even if the other brand tasted better and was packed with nutrition!
I did some testing early on but it seemed too much like work to me than like fun since there were sooo many bugs and was soo different than it was before. I wish I could say I had gthe time and the inclination to go out there and test these sort of things but I do not. I am now resenting SOE for having us TEST their buggy CU.
From what I can tell, they had a long time to work on this since it was originally promised before JTL. Now, it's being introduced along side yet another pay-for-it expansion pack. So, what was their time spent on? Making JTL and ROTW! And not creating/balancing the combat system as they promise long ago. It's as if the CU was an after thought and has been hastily put together.
I'm a little saddened to say the least. I sincerely hope that the CU does not go live for some time to come. I don't think I should have to /bug things in the live game.
This game is starting to taste like some crappy ceral.
Let's hope it's as simple as adjusting the recipe; some more sugar, a little less salt...
Don't get me wrong though, I realy think we do need a CU; it's just that SOE could've and SHOULD'VE spent more time and resources on it.
