How do I get the transdoshan hunting rifle? Is it a quest or can they be looted? I really like there look and here there strong.

You can get a 1040 max damage normal trando rifle through a quest i think

Or you can get a trando rifle mark 1b which is crafted and has a damage cap of 1184 i thinkbut you most likly would need your own trando barrel

you can get a MWS to craft you the Trando rifle but you will either need to find one that has both the Enhanced power cells of 184 max damage or some really good Krayt tissues of 180 damage range, or provide them. You will also need to either have a trando rifle barrel or again find a MWS with them. Also the MWS must have the Trando Rifle sch learned or you will need to provide that as well. Most MWS have the sch already though, so that should not be a problem.

If the MWS has to provide the Componets, expect to pay a lot of money. they currently sell for up to 20 mil on my server if double capped and if they are just under the double caps then anywhere from 10 to 20 mil. If you provide all the componets, then you can probably get one made for a lot more. I make them with my MWS for only 2 mil if you provide all the componets as you have done all the hard work.

You can get one crafted without the Enhanced Power Cells, but what would be the point, as the cost would out way the qualitiy of the rifle and you could get a crafted ALR for a lot less with the same stats.

The only other option is to do the Kash quest which starts at one of the Trando Slaver camps, i think it is the first one you get to and talking to a guy in the structure that you see infront of you in the back of the camp when you first enter. I dont remember his name though. The quest is doable if you are a CL80, but once you have to go to the Rhyatt Trail to kill Scratch, you may need help. Unless you have a really good template, you will have trouble soloing once you get down there. If you want to try though, I was able to do it, but you will have to burst run a lot to get past the MOBs and will get killed a lot, but you clone in the same spot so you dont loss your progress. I think I got killed 3 time and was lucky

Have lots of money and hope you find and win a bid on your galaxy's trade forums. Lots of millions. You can drop the price if you can find your own power cells, these are the items which cost a bunch, depending on the market for your galaxy/server.

the best ones are crafted. Though I've seen some pretty good looted ones, but I'm not sure where those loots came from.
