Thread: MBH/MRM = Solo Krayts?

I have been a Master BH since I popped Jedi pre patch 9 (26 prof's) and have dabbledin a few different prof's with the remaining points. After some success killing Jedi as a ranged PVPer I am going Master Rifles to go with MBH. I really dont want to give up the Master box in BH til I see what the Combat Upgrade brings us, but will consider it if absolutely needed. I really need to start making some serious cash, need Premium pearls for my Jedi, and would REALLY like to loot one of those awsome T21's from a Krayt's belly! Is this possible with this template and if so do I use the /prone; /concealshot; til dead routine and if aggroed hop on bike and race away til agro clears, then come back and continue the same on the Krayrt, (since I cant tank)or is there different/better strategies that will work? I would probrably keep Novice Medic with it for emergencies but am open to any/all suggestions.

Drag him on a bike to some high end mob and let em tank for ya use SS2 and do em fast

I'm Master Rifles / Master Pistoleer / Novice Medic and Brawler. I can solo up to Giants. I just kite them till they are dead, keep em intimidated when they get close, and heal myself as necessary. My T-21 is nothing special, 550 max. I get full buffs including mind buffs. I keep my mind up with brandy and canape and have a muon readily available. I also keep a vecupti available for an emergency. When you first attack, they will charge right up to you, it's their equivalent to burst run. They then get tired and slow down, that's when you burst run and get back to your ideal range of 50-60m and just start shooting away. Once they are down to almost half, their armor degrades and it goes alot faster. If juvies pop up, switch to your dxr-6 rifle.

ss2 will kill your tank too
unless you're lucky enough to find a nova trooper (and you're imp/on leave).my template is MBH/Mrifles, and i can solo juvies and canyons no prob. giants dizzy/kd so whilst i *could* solo, i wouldnt, its just not worth it (too much bother lol).
all you need is 90% kinetic armour, then spam headshot3 or strafe2, i prefer headshot myself, just so that i dont agro the half-dozen ancients all around me. get 1100 focus, and one brandy should be enough to keep your mind bar from tipping.

With the insane spawns going on lately, is it still possible to /conceal themedium krayts to death?
I can barely get into the canyon before I've got 3 of them chasing me. Anyplace within 1000m of the canyon mouthis prone to havingwithdrawingplayers (read as running for their lives) draw2-3 fresh dragons out togreet you, and the one time I did think I was safe for a moment,2 of them jumped me. I'd swear they were on patrol...

You can solo a small one in less than a minute with a decent dxr6. I don't know if they drop pearls since the last loot patch, but they were dropping premium ones a couple weeks ago (mostly quality ones, but I found 3 premiums off the juvis).
Granted you won't find any legendary weapons or any great tissue or scales, but at least you won't die on your back because you can't get up from an ancient dizzy knockdown.
