I was out grindingout FS XP on danth and I decide to kill a lair ofAncient Bull rancors
I kill one with no probs and then use SS2 on the lair causing 2 to pop. So I open up with SS2 on em and stack em up pretty high in my combat queue but then I jsut completely stop doing damage to anything but the rancor I got targeted. At this point im thinking hmmm ok maybe if I change targets itll fix it. So I clear up my combat queue and target the 2nd rancor and start taping SS2, but they are getting dropped just as fast as im hitting the button..........thats not good. Then I notice im still doing the SS2 animation and still shooting at the origional rancor. Now im getting a little worried. My health was getting low so I clear my queue once more and press the healdamage button and nothing happens, I check my inventory and yup I still got stims there. So i just sit there watching my health drop while my char continues to attack the first rancor. Then the rancor gets low on healthwarps out of range and about 20 target out of range things pop up and then Im able to heal myself again. This happened 4 or 5 times last night against various mobs. It could be lag related but Ive never had this happen before the last patch.

I had this problem the other night farming faction. One moment I was mowing them down, then I tried changing targets and wasn't doing any damage to anyone. It stuck like that for a while. I did the same thing you did when my health got low too.

I had this problem too. I had to "peace" with the Rancor (weird I noticed it on the same type of MOB!) then I targeted a different one. Then all was good. Something I noticed about what hapened was that the Rancor that I could no longer do damage to was at a very low amount of Health. I figure he tried to "peace" with me and run, but he never ran; he just stood there but did not take any further damage. At least not until I "peaced" and targeted another Rancor and then went back to him.

This happens to me all the time. If 8 creatures spawn. And you are using an area attack.. (Like SS2) When any of the creatures get to about 3% health, you no longer do any damage to them. You can still see +Leg Hit+, +Head Hit+, popping up but no numbers. SO you can do it all day and they wont die. You need to clear your combat queue and retarget them. Stupid game. This is some of those most basic bugs a game can have and a coupla years on they still havn't fixed it.

Yea same here guys. I 've recently noticed this as well. I thought that maybe I was doing something wrong like not having them in range or they were to far outside the cone of attack. So I decided to test it out just for this reason and I've noticed that I wasn't hitting my non targeted ST's all the time, but only some of the time.
