Is it just me or is it that Kinetic Tusken Rifles don't exist anymore?

They started as kinetic, but for reasons never fully disclosed were changed to energy.
The Tusken King Rifle from the Huff Darklighter quest is kinetic, but it isn't certified so you'll do almost no damage.

that's weird I could have sworn the changed the Tusken rifles back to Kinetic

This was a silent nerf back near release, and it turned into a "it never was" said by the devs. But many of us clearly rememBer it as. Personally I think every profession should have all damage types.

ok, tell me this, what energy weapon usies projectile rifle barrels? Hint, it was the ONLY one prior to the DRX-6b... Its the tuscan, I still have my kinetic tuscan

Have you looked at it's damage type lately? A guildy of mine refused to believe me, and swore he had a Tusken hanging on his wall with kinetic damage. It had been hanging there since he 1st decorated his house and he hadn't look at it in a good long time, so I asked him to take a quick look. It was energy. Someone had snuck into his house during the night while he wasn't looking, and taken a nerf bat to his toy...

I have the quest reward one which is Kinetic Dmg, as said before though its uncerted.

ah - that is not a true Tusken rifle. That is the Tusken King's Rifle.

It's a true Tusken Rifle but i guess your talking player made/Looted Tusken Rifles and not quest rewards.
But in answer to MaksmanDemon99's question yes Kinetic Tusken Rifles do still 'exist'

Yeah, I tried out my Tusken King's Rifle when I realized it was stil kinetic, and it took me 15 HS3 to kill a large Chuba with it

Since they have announced that after the CURB all rifles will be either Kinetic or Energy damage, surely they will switch the Tuskens back to kinetic when they update all the existing weapons.
