Advanced Laser Rifle and T-21 have exact same stats even same damage except laser rifle takes 3 ABPH and T-21 takes 5 ABPH meaning to make a great krayt rifle it's just smarter to get an Advanced Laser Rifle made...

So Ackhece can you get this answered? Also do you still think melee defense reduces damage dealt from melee opponents =PPP that was the funniest thing I ever read, but congrats on Corro position.

Your defense > attack's accuracy determines your attacker's chance to hit, this is called avoidance. Armor resists will reduce the ammount of damage per hit an attacker does, this is called mitigation.

I assume are asking whether your defense skill will mitigate damage, if this is the case, no.

However if your defense < attackers acuracy, then you will begin to see the damage bonus he gets per hit for his extra accuracy.

I did ask about the redundant guns in the master box - the answer I was given is that they intend to create a more defined role in the future for our weapons. Sorry I don't know more then that.

Well it's encouragig to know they actually have a plan for them and it isn't just an over-sight or some other misguided notion.

I made a krayt T21 and ALR using same tissues. T21 come out with a higher dps than ALR. Probably because it gained more from the speed increase from tissues.

I have noticed no difference. Did you experiment the same? Because I have learned to get my dps way higher by experimenting only 7 or so points to damage and 5 to speed.

And what are you talking about? The question was regarding the rifles and them being identical...

1. Check out his second question in the same post.
2. Note the sour taste in your mouth.
3. Remove foot from mouth.

You are very smart. Except that our corro once said to me that melee defense lowers damage done from melee attacks. That just made me laugh when she said it. She argued with me over it so I was just poking fun at it. But you put your head where it doesn't belong. Good job there.

The way ranged/melee defense works is by comparing attackers accuracy to defenders defense.

It does not mitigate damage.

Instead it determines how much damage the shot will do based on the weapons damage range.

If your accuracy is way over the defenders defense you do get more damage then weapons total.

Duelist stance and center of being both work by giving a bonus to defense. This in turn cuts damage recieved from level 80 NPC's from 150 to about 100 just from the defensive bonus.

Don't believe me? fight a lvl 50 creature, respec to less defense, or more defense and try again.

The answer they gave suggests that actually there is no plan.
