Thread: Master BH, need your thoughts on Rifles or Commandos as second

Well as a Master Rilfeman/Commando, I can say Commando is not finished yet.
-Our AOE's are Buggy, Gernades stink currently, and our Damage is not nuker class damage.

I personally suggest Rifles to go with your MBH. Commando it seems will remain broken until World Peace sets on planet Earth.
Mastering Rifleman is far cheaper and more effective use of yourSkill Pts than getting Commando. Also, you get more specials to your well rounded MBH ones. What do you get with Commando? Heartache and alot of angry group members from aggro-ing everything around the team.
Rifles is still very effective despite the bugs with Cover, Sniper Shots, and Conceal Shots. If these get fixed, watch out!
Before the CU testing started, many of us in the Commando forums were dreaming of a Mandalorian-like template: Master Bounty Hunter w/ Master Commando. That template right now is quite horrible. Maybe in the future, it'll be great, but right now...

I Totally agree here.
Gone are the days of the MBH/Melee Tanks....!!
M Marksman / M Rifleman / MBH & with the last 18 Pts, Perhaps FS Ranged Speed & Accuracy & FS Melee & Ranged Defence with 2 Blocks in Injury treatment "which still work to speed up Stim Usage".
This is my current template & so far it has worked like a dream (Though Cover, Conceal & Sniper shot Don't Work the way they should), once the Devs get round to fixing them This Template will be th Ultimate "House Hiding Hunter".
I have already Popped off two Jedi Using Cover & Sniper Shot, Blind & Stun/Dizzy, Combined a few Carb & Pistol Specials with my Laser Rifle for KD, Critical Hit etc....
All in all, its the way of the Future in SWG Bountyhunting.

Here's what's wrong with Rifleman specials that I recall:
Sniper Shot just randomly works, here and there.
Cover Up requires you to be on impeccably flat ground. I'm sure this isn't intended.
You can KD with Underhand Shot and then just sit back and Startle Shot a Jedi to death, and if you're lucky, they wont even be able to get up from the KD. Even if they do, all they can do is try to run. I say try, because that that point you can snare(or root, if you have pistoleer) them and go to town with Adv. Critical.
It really is a beautiful template, and performs very well in PvE as well, grouped or soloproviding you're careful about pulling individual aggros).
