well all its been about a year since i played SWG. So i have a few questions about the class now with the new CU, the one we were ment to have about 6 months ago.
1. How much damage can i expect out of MRM?
2. Is there any EOA attack now like SS2?
3. How slow do we attack now?
4. Who else hates the need for range support in marksmen? (just saying find if very annoying)
5. When do i get my trusty DXR-6b back i love that gun?
6. How bad was the nerf we were all expecting it but was it really that bad?
thank if you can answer any or all.

1. How much damage can i expect out of MRM?
3000+ in a single attack if the stars align correct and the moon is ascedent and jupiter is in phase (aka - all conditions are perfect and our best shot works)
2. Is there any EOA attack now like SS2?
Nope
3. How slow do we attack now?
Slow or fast depending on how many ranged professions you pick upalongside rifleman
4. Who else hates the need for range support in marksmen? (just saying find if very annoying)
Was a great balancing idea - means that hybrids and specific combat professions are much more on a even base now.
5. When do i get my trusty DXR-6b back i love that gun?
level balanced - so it is not likely to move much
6. How bad was the nerf we were all expecting it but was it really that bad?
Hurt bad... we are living through it though.

I just want to be able to lay the smackdown on something now, even if it gives me a glass jaw. Master commando rifleman means that I should be able to take a level 80 creature in, and live long enough for at least 1/4 of its health to be gone. My alt with just a tad of pistols and sl has more dps vs similer level creatures than I do

if we can get into prone and someone agros a mob we can do ok but then if the melee class isnt using taunt or something it agros out you and HURTS

I use Firefox and can use the forums fine, but you have to turn out the graphical post editor and write in HTML. Firefox doesnt like the code Lithium is sending for that editor. You can turn it off in your profiles.
If you need to tank creatures you did something wrong. I take out 1 or 2 same-leveled critters without any problems. Key is to slow them down so you can kite. If you use leg shot the critters will slow down to the same level as you with your ranged-weapon-penalty. I also see youre Doc, so if you messed up and are tanking and need to heal, use startle shot first so the critter cant attack you while you are healing. But dont try to tank two same-level critters at the same time.
If you are in a group, the same tactics apply. But dont expect the melee classes to hold aggro for long - taunt has a very long reuse timer, and alternating between headshot and ranged shot you inflict too much damage and generate hate too fast. Same applies for healing, it generates more hate than taunting. So as rifleman or doc you always end up being the chased one, unless there are other riflemen or docs around.
