someone explain to me how a rifleman with a t21 can fire a SPECIAL namely the strafeshot 2, with an 8.8 speed rifle which last time i checked is 8.8 SECONDS at faster than 2.0? every special has a delay on it, which would put that rifle well over 9.0, so the rifle speed increase brings him down to faster than a pistol speed? someone please, logically, explain that to me.

Divide the speed of the weapon by 20 for a master marksman/master rifleman 8.8/20=0.44, then multiply by 3, that makes it 1.32 seconds... a master marksman/master rifleman will fire strafe shot 2 with an 8.8 second delay weapon every 1.32 seconds... if they don't have master marksman it will be every 2.64 seconds.

Pistol users get speed modifiers too.. and they don't have to be very high up the pistoleer tree to fire every shot, and every special every second.

Not to pick a fight Gazkan but it takes a pistoleer time to build up speed, they need millions of pistol exp to acquire the combat experience for more speed, bounty hunters on the other hand are ridiculous, 4 boxes of pistol exp and they have more speed than a master pistoleer.

You can't fire faster then once per second so it's impossible to shoot faster then a Master Pistoleer,

Gazkan , using your speed calculation, would it make sense for me to pick up master marksman right now on the way to master rifleman so i'll be stronger as a novice rifleman. As i go i will have to give up the master marksman..but then i wont mind as much.. Please correct me if i'm wrong..

Master marks is only worth another +5 to your speed.

It's your call, but i don't feel it makes a significant difference on the way up (because slow is slow). But once I reached master rifleman, I found I liked having that extra +5 from master marks.
