Thread: AAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
How am I supposed to use the advantages of range and the abilities of my slow *edit* rifle when the critters teleport on top of me after one shot?
I feel your pain.
If we must walk to the mobs the mobsshould return the courtesy by walking to us!
It's not just warping to you they also warp away from you.
I get these missions where there's a bunch of mobs all packed into the center of a camp with a lot tents and debris. They're close enough together that I can Strafe Shot II them all but the moment I do they'll port ontop of me. Fortunatly I have a Flame Thrower for when I'm going to have to get up close. So I pull out the Flame Thrower and get close enough to start hitting them with AoEs but the moment I fire they warp outside the camp. So I switch back to my rifle so I don't have to chase one while the others shoot at me. The mobs draw their daggers, warp back, and then proceede to re-enact the last moments of Ceaser on me.
I now avoid those missions unless they're filled with mobs far below my level.

Thats nothing, I spent a ton of time grinding away the life of a mountain squill, it involved 2 burstruns...although just barely on the last one. It took forever to kill him and I finally get incapped, however I havehimso his mind is gonna bleed to death in the next tick and what happens? He warps 600+ meters back to the original spawn spot to die...thats right I get incapped spend a ton of time making sure I hit this guy and get a bit too close then a bit too far for nothing. And I"m a low end rifleman that would have been huge xp, well not huge but plenty that would have made it worth it.
