Please Riflemen, lets band together on this cause to get our beloved T21 unnerfed. The post is on the first page of the general discussion thread and does not flame the devs or any other class, so it actually has a good potential of being seen by a dev.

A good amount of discussion and point/counter-point is starting to appear in there as well.

Let's keep the ball rolling and the thread growing. With luck, a dev might actually hear our cries for help and save us from the downward spiral that we are currently caught in.

The pistol-users have mobilized in General Discussion and have called for, among a myriad of improvements to their own class (most of which are now being enacted) a drastic revision of the way speed workswhich will ensure that Rifle users fire even slower.

I've always tried to be a persistent advocate for the Rifleman class, but things are getting bad. Commandoes and Bounty Hunters, with their Special Heavy Weapons, can unleash the kind of damage we could only dream of. The T21 was nerfed because, Holocron explained, it was unacceptable for any weapon to do over 3000 damage; Scatter Pistols are already being produced on my server that exceed 3000 damage with Eye Shot (which simultaneously blinds) and LLC's, Flamethrowers, and any of the Charged Heavy Weapons can all hit for over 10,000 damage, and up to 30,000 damage on a Rifle-wielding character (as we take 2.5x damage from all Heavy Weapons). In other words, characters are doing ten times the damage we were told was unacceptable for our T21.

It is time for our community to coalesce around issues important to our class, and I suggest that you contribute your support to the following thread whenever possible:

It is VITAL that we come together at this moment because, no matter how bad things may seem, they are likely to get worse for our class if we remain immobile. This is the time to ask for our T21 back, lest our weapon, and our class, be forgotten in the wave of Pistoleer hysteria. I only hope there are still enough Riflemen left to help propone this noble cause and achieve the balance which has been so sorely lacking.

So apparently a Pistoleer saboteur has already branded my post with the dreaded one-star. How very surprising.
