ONly time will tell whether this will actually happen or we're being strung along again.

Been a while since I checked shops on Tarq but I don't think they have it. Fairly sure Chimaera/FarStar don't have it either asthey has just opened.

Just a little warning: Just because the resources for a T21 will spawn, that does nto mean it will be possible to carft a good one.

The resources for Laser Rifles have been spawning for a long time now. WS have constantly upgraded their resources if something better appeared, resulting in Laser Rifles pretty close to the maximum possible stats.

However, if you need one particular resource type for the T21, and it spawns for the first time, you have to take it. For example on Chilastra, some Iron required for the T21 spawned with stats like 49 and 97 in the required attributes. Now the max stats assum a total in those values of 2000 (or maybe 1500 if they realized the max stats on iron, but I doubt that). So you can tell that this particular resource is very crappy and will make very crappy rifles.

So, in short: While the theoretical possible T21 will be much better than the theoretical possible Laser Rifle, in reality you will likely get a mediocre T21 and a very good Laser rifle. And then, the T21 can very well turn out to be rather bad when compared to the LAser. Yes, it will still have AP3, but it also will have very high HAM. If the damage does not make up for it, you might be better off with your Laser.


So first: Don't be dissapointed when your first T21 does not hold what you expected.
Second: Carefully compare the T21s that will come to your server with the Lasers that are available. The T21 may not be worth the high price they will cost.

for a weapon to not be worthwhile it would have to be priced near what the payback that can be reasonably achieved with that weapon. if i cant make up the cost of the weapon in a few advanced missions then it is overpriced. generally that is anything over 100k.

It sounds like theyre gonna do an LLC ,, ie remove that specific component from the gun, allowing more to build it, (was done with light lightning cannon), just look at the results . be nice if they did that

Hey I don't care if it isn't the biggest baddest gun ever made, I just want to try out the gun that I was certed for3? months ago.

TBH some of the stats on the T21 make it look quite decent, it won't top the max of the laseroften but it seems to have greater accuracy and a better min damage.

My main problems with it are; cost, resource requirements and the amount ofpower handlers it uses.

Gemstones aren't the only problems

"Most of the Polonium Iron, also needed to make the T21, has been in the 9 OQ to 220 OQ range. I fear, unless better Polo appears before the gemstone, the first T21's might hurt from this more than from the fear of a 50OQ Gemstone. We've gotten 919 OQ Steel and 972 OQ Ore for the Rifles, that will help somewhat, but the true potential of the Rifles won't be seen until we get 900's of the Iron and Gemstone."
