hmm.. at that condition wont it most likely fail the repair? maybe a master WS might have a success on it. But in my experience if it gets below 50% its gonna break..

thats not always true....while it has a fairly good chance at breaking, its not gaurunteed to go bye bye. I am willing to pay for it to attempt the repair. Nah, this looks like it has a proper chance to be repaired IF repaired by a Master WS AND a high (= 97% +) repair tool is used. Most things I have repaired that had over 150 condition will make it quite well, breaking stuff at that condition happens less often than fixing it. Of course, you can still be unlucky...

Item has been sold for 1 million credits to Edhina master wep smith who repaired it and it is now 29-800+

I know she told me it jumped over 800 something, not sure what.

Is it certain that Master Weaponsmiths need to repair weapons? I repaired a 100 something out of 700 something with minor blemishes and I don't even have artisan. True, the repair toll was like 98.4 or something, but still.

BTW, I would sell my Zabraks soul for that weapon (a.k.a. join the Empire). It now does over 1k base damage with a powerup and has a ham cost of 31. Hmmm, I'm not sure it would ever drain my mind, even at master....

dragon, the thing is that while a Master smith has a better chance, anyone can. I've repaired with only minor blemishes after dropping Nov Artisan using a 99% kit. However, I've failed a whole lot more than that too.

*grin* In my experience it seems the worse the items are the better they get repaired! I recently repaired 3 weapons in a rowfrom quite low conditions (one was 8/884, yes, 8) and all were minor blemishes. Then the next two I fixed weren't even halfway down and I broke them outright. (I'm a MWS btw)
