I tried this combo on a friend earlier tonight and it dizzied him right off the bat, but it never posture changed him. Any idea if it doesn't work anymore or something? I used a low speed spraystick to do it, but it kept saying "failed to change posture".

Don't use suppression fire against PC's. They rarely if ever work. The usefulness is mostly in PvE against NPC's.

Actually i set up a macro which fires flush2 than surpression... It usually won't work in PvP because most, if not everyone has a defense against posture down in their template. I used it on another rifleman/doc and it worked like a charm. I also use it on bounty hunters, but sometimes doesn't work if they dabble in pistoleer. It also works good for commandos who don't have any posture down defense.

As for PvE use.... it will work a lot better, but since most pcs go prone when you shoot at them i have found flush2 and surprise shot work better
