Yeah, the loss of damage and stacking of our mind bleeds is unfortunate. But minshot2 is still very usefull. I use it to pull mobs out one at a a time. In a group hunting Voritor Hunters, I can bleed one and pull it form teh pack an we can take them on one at a time instead of three at a time. So there is still a use for Mindshot2 or Mindshot1, you just have to know when.
