I am master rifleman is it worth it to me to go up the combat support tree or not? I do not have enough skill points to master marksman.

Well... do you feel the need for warning shot and supression fire?

I'm not master yet, so I personaly LOVE suppresion fire and warning shot... but I hear once you hit master you become quite a bad ass... so I don't know if you need those two shots anymore.

Warning shot makes something run away from you .. goes out about 20 - 30 meters, then comes back... although, from my experiance when you shoot it again it will just come right back... and you shoot fast at master, so I think it wouldn't be verry effective.

Suppresion freezes your opponent... I think it works on creatures only.. if it works on NPCs, I haven't had any luck with it.. but it will freeze the creature for 2 or 3 free shots... you can ujse it every 30 seconds I think.. or 15... I forget.

That's the scoop, good luck.

Yea i wont use either of those shots, as a master rifleman, I don't have to run from much, lol. My reason for considering it, was for the gains to aiming ? it says general ranged aiming and some added defense mods. Right now I have Master Rifleman/Master CH and I do have combat support 1 for aim.

Well before 90% armor, and defence stacking I used suppresion, and warning all the time. Warning shot was for pets, and Flurry/Supression was riflemans only form of KD.

If you use strictly rifles, Flurry and suppression can provide fairly useful.

i find medic skills are more beneficial at master than the marksmen support line. i dont miss all that much if ever but i dont PvP so accuracy is not an issue for me.

Yea I am buffed always, so medic skills are not neccesary. I might try it fora while and see.

You might also want to look for skill tapes that suppliment those aiming bonuses. Just liek the +5 speed tape you need to cover for the master marksman box.

Well, I think you might be ok then... unless you really have nothing more to spend your skill points on.

But more aim definetly can't hurt... it's a toss up.

To make Master Rifleman, Swordsman, and Brawler, I had to make that choice. To keep Novice Medic plus one first tier box ( Diags I), I had to give up all of Ranged support. I did not feel that Warningshot and SuppressionFire were that useful to me anymore, and I was picking up enough defenses from Swordsman and Brawler to mostly compensate for the loss of what Ranged Support provided. Thus, it is much more useful to me to be able to heal myself and others rather than keepany gains I got from Ranged Support.

The only thing I am debating is whether /AIM is worth loosing the +15 points to healing speed at Diags I. I can take Diags I or Ranged Support I, but not both. At the moment, the only real benefit /AIM givesme as a Master Rifleman is to counter to some degree defensive stackers. I do not face them much, and the stacked defenses like that are being changed or mitigated to some degree, so /AIM is not as important to me as being able to heal a little quicker. Thus, I will likely stay where I am at Master of Rifle, Sword, and Brawler with Medic 0 1 0 0 (and, of course, Marksman 4 0 0 0).
