Thread: how do you know block is bugged ?

i heard from people in this forum block is bugged. How do I know if it is really bugged or not?

Watch the text in your combat window. You never block.

Yup. You'll never block. We would be even better if it was working.

well u can actually block something, but u have the same chance of doing that as a person with absolutely no combat skill does doing dodge or counterattack lol. (and yes there is some extremely small chance they will)

yes but i am master, the chance rate should not be as low

Also, even when you get a message like counterattack, i've always still taken damage, and my armor did too.
Same thing when I've seen npc's block, they still took damage.

Block does work everyone, its just not as good as counterattack or Dodge
What block does is you take 50% of the damage you would normally have taken, as oppossed to counterattack and dodge, which you take 0
Block shows up as counterattack though on the combat log, so thats where some of the confusion is
