This may be handy for those Riflemen heading over to the Test Center...
How long have I been playing this game? (Answer: since day 3... so there's no excuse for ignorance)
I just found out last night that you can chat across servers. I only found this out because Geddeo was on Test Center and was trying it out. I was at my house on Coronet (Eclipse) sorting through some things when a Tell arrives from 'TestCenter.geddeo' saying "testing!". So i did a simple "/r" and the conversation was on.
For those few of you who may not know about this, you simply prefix the server name in front of the person's name. I was able to send a tellby using both '/tell TestCenter.geddeo' and '/tell testcenter.geddeo'... so case doesn't seem to matter.
By the way, I also tried the following just for grins: /tip testcenter.geddeo 10
No error, no message, no money for geddeo, no nuthin'... totally ignored! (which I expected)
(I posted this on this forum and the smuggler forum because that's pretty much the only places I hang out around here)

I think Q-3P0 had it in one of his Tuesday tips a couple of weeks ago. I believe it works for any server as well, although I don't have any friends on another server, but if any of you feel like talking strategy with Skel feel free to try /t valcyn.skel, unless of course you are just going to yell at me, then try /t eclipse.way'ev-da

Relax, Wayne, this has only been out since December or around that time. It did show up as a tip of the day around that time, but I do not believe it was working on all servers at that time. So you are not completely cluelss. It has not been available very long from what I understand.
And by the way, you had a typo in your test. In the future, when you try tests like this, make sure you spell it right. It shoud have been:
/tip intrepid.sotaudi 10000000
