My question befor I become a Rifleman is...

There is a cold damage rifle. What is its name and what are the typical stats?

Whould it not be a wise choice for Krayt hunting seeing as how they are only 20-30% resist to cold?

i'm pretty sure the rifle your thinking of is the sg82, stats can get in the high 200s with a good dmg slice. my opinion, your better off with a t21 the cold dmg rifle only has light armor peircing while the krayt has heavy armor so the damage will be reduced a lot.

t21 is better choice because one can geta t21 with a descent damgage slice which would bring it to around 440 and the min dmg is also high but the thing good about the t21 is that it's heavy armor peircing thus making it go right through the krayts armor. that's my thought

hmmm go with a T21 to hunt krayts (heavy armor piercing) compared to the sg82 which has no armor piercing

I kill lots of dragons and my Sg82 stays in the pack of useless weapons in my house.

I dont belive i have ever seen a mob where the sg82 is the best weapon

the T21 is the overall best weapon for PVE and only godly krayt T21 can outdo a jawa in PVP

There are several around the game. Just depends on where you hunt. For example, if you getMokk missions on Dantooine, I believe they have 80% resists to everything except are vulnerable to cold. Since that is a 40K mission if you get it in a group, the SG82 can pay for itself easilyin one mission. (Ask to join a big group so you can get higher missions, most people dont mind... then take a couple of 40K Mokk missions and go solo them -- not a bad way to make some money.)

Ok, I have been very careful not to create a new thrad about this because I know you guys have plenty of newbs asking questions, but this seems like a good place to do it:

Today I just hit Novice rifleman and I'm very excited about getting a t21. The only problem is I don't know what the stats I should be looking for is. I know a vendor that has some t21's that are supossed to be good but they're upwards of 60k, which is ok but I really don't want to spend almost 100k on a rifle that I don't even know is good. So I wonder if anybody can post what sort of stats are good for a t21, decent I mean. I know there can be some MEAN t21's out there but these are just stock made (very good materials I heard) and master smuggler sliced. So maybe if I could get a few examples with the damage ranges and the speeds I'd much appreciate it.

THANK YOU!

btw: I'm on the Ahazi server if anybody has some for sale.

Your probably right dont those missions since i was finishing up my last box in CH.

Dont hunt much except dragons anymore occasional i will make the rounds to all the imp basses i know of to destroy ATSTs just cause i like to watch them blow up though

You forgot to mention what server you're on.

T21 is the way to go. On Bloodfin, you can a good damage sliced T21 doing a max damage of around 500. Toss on a good damage powerup and you'll jack it to over 650.
