Thread: How best to use AOE while hunting?

I am Master Ranger and moving up Rifleman. I do not have a pet to tank for me while I am hunting. What is the best strategy to use AoE attack with the rifle to engage animals while hunting. Do you apprach a lair and open up with flushing 2 for example and keep spamming flushing 2?
I have used flushing 2 at a group of animals standing around but it seems to only effect the animal that i have aimed at? Any help would be appreciated on how to best use AoE attacks while hunting. Thanks.

depends on the size of the monsters ur stats what weapon you have etc.
typically i use strafe2 when i want to kill 3 or more creatures at once.
HS3 when there are 1-2.
sometimes i will use the bleed of MS1 to single pull and kill them in detail with HS3 as they charge from 80 meters.
strafe2 doesnt usually work that well when your the one doing the tanking.

Is the key to be in a group and when the group has engaged the animals to open up with AoE on the whole group. Not to use it when soloing a lair?

Well, I used flushing 2 as I grinded thru the last 1.8 million xp yesterday... Get yourself a good tank and get it to attack the lair (a TKA/MBrawler is best cause they can taunt and pull any aggro from you). Then start blasting the creatures around him with flushing 2... you'll even get xp for the lair even though you don't do any damage to it(because of the posture changing effect).It'sgreat to see 15 kamuriths in one little area thatthen starts todrop like flies.
