Thread: Considering swapping TKA for swordsman, advice?

I'm considering dropping TKA (master atm) for master swordsman.

Right now I'm..

Master rifleman
Master Marksman
Teras kasi Master
0/0/3/0 Smuggler (for feign death)

I would be

Master Rifleman
Master Marksman
Master Swordsman
(with some points left)

Any advice? Should I do it? By doing this I would lose feign death (can live with that) powerboost (ok, fine..) force of will (.....I can take it..) and healing my own wounds (...NOOOO!!!) for whatever bennefits swordsman offers.

Suggestions? Advice? Forgetaboutityoucrazymofokeeptkawhatwhereyouthinking?

If that's what you're gonna do, I'd suggest getting Novice Medic and either First Aid or Diagnostics I. Should leave you with 1 point left.

The better route is to get some rifle speed attachments (+7 or +8) so you can drop Master Marksman and Medic to get back TKA (I suggest 4/4/0/4).

Gone back to a char builder and made something real quick. How does this sound?

Master rifleman.
Master Swordsman.
4/4/0/0 marksman.
4/0/4/0 brawler.
0/0/3/0 smuggler.

Uses all 250 skillpoints.

So I keep force of will, meditate, powerboost, feign death and the ability to heal my own wounds. I have ranged mind dmg and melee mind dmg.

If you wanna build a good highham-pve-hunter, you should keep medic imo. If you're only planning on hunting in groups and pvp, then what you're building is fine.

Personally I'm

Master Rifleman

Master Swordsman

3000 Fencer

2040 Medic

Which means lots of defense, 1K+ heals and tons of damage.

I like the above posters build...i've been a Master Heavy Swords for a long time and loved it, I dropped it but however i've decided I miss it to much and am going to pick it back up, luckly I have like 900k of two-handed XP banked....personally I like being able to harvest meat and hide and such so my template will be somthing like:

Master Rifleman
Master Heavy Swords
4,0,0,0 Fencer
0,4,4,0 Brawler
4,0,0,0 Marksman
1,0,0,0 Scout
Novice Medic (stim-b's that heal for around 400 is good enuff for me)

Leaves me with 0 skill points and hitting the cap on Ranged and Melee defense...and i've already got the skill tapes that max me out on Rifle speed, and i'm half way there on Two-handed sword tapes throw them in a Ubese shirt and Mabari or padded armor belt and your good to go...it should prove to be a power house at range and melee..

Drop master marksman and spend a few million on skill tapes soyou cap on accuracy and speed. Pick up Master Brawler for intimidate 2. Pick up 1000 medicand buy400 base stim D's. You will be able to solo krayt dragons with strafe shot 2 in under 15 minutes. Giant Krayts take around 30 minutes because of their knockdown/dizzy spams.
