Thread: DXR Geo. Rifle
You get the schematic from an NPC in the Geo caves, so it is kind of a quest. I forget which NPC, but I think it is the one down in the section with the mercanaries. The schematic requires Geo power cubes. These cannot be made, so, yes, it will require some looted items from the cave. The power cubes can probably be found elsewhere in the cave, but they are common drops from the Crazed Geonosians at the cave entrance.I believe you willneed six identical cubes to get two rifles (a WS will need to correct me on this).
There are four cube types. Yellow are the most in demand. They add to damage. Green are next most demaded; they add to durability. The DXR6 has low starting durability, so it is kind of a toss up as to which is more valuable. After this, there are Red cubes. The Red ones lower HAM costs (they also have an "encumbrance" reduction, so I suspect they can be used in some kind of armor, though I have not seen any discussion on this). The last type, the Whites, do not increase or reduce anything. As far as I have been able to tell, all they are good for is a place holder to allow you to make the item (i.e., the schematic calls for Geo power cubes, and the whites at least qualify for that).

Dumb question number 2; Is the DXR Geo the same as the disruptor rifle? I've had my eye on one from a vendor but lack the skill so far. Are we all talking about the same thing?
