High end rifleman have this "Shock Shot" ability that does massive damage to multiple units. I saw it with my own eyes 1000+ damage to everything. This damage is done with a DLT20a gun.

Last time I checked Rifleman did not get a special called "shock shot", nice try though.

From what the guy told me "Shock shot" is when you use Startleshot2

ummm I don't think we have "starleburst" are you thinking cammando or something.. witha lighting rilfe

Startleshot2 ... think that comes with another class.. I think we have startle shot 1.. but its also really early so i may be wrong

Nope.. it's in the Rifleman tree under Master Counter snipering technique. It was clearly demonstrated to me that it does area effect as it hit all the enemy units in a bunch.

In case some of you don't understand where the name "Shock shot" comes from, it's the name of the coresponding skill written in the combat window.. here's an example.

Pistoleer's MeleeDefense1 is called "Pistol Whip" in the combat window.

yes, startle shot 2 is the lvl 4 Counter-Sniping skill. it is AE cone, meant to un-prone people.

also there is flushing shot 2 which is AE stun.

They are LAZER rifles. Even the Star Treck guys have an area shot on there phazer rifles.

So lemme get this straight... You guys are all over your own boards complaining about how riflemen are unbalanced and weak...

And NONE of you are even far enough into your profession to realize you have an AE attack?

Perhaps you guys should level up some more before you start preaching about game balance, eh?
