Your level and what you want to use it for play a great deal in that decision.

As aNovice Rifleman I would suggest getting a couple T21's and getting them sliced. Use the speed sliced ones for now and save any damage sliced ones for once you hit Master.

The DXR-6b is a great weapon also once you get the cert for it. It's useful against many MOB's and it's high accuracy is great for PvP.

If you plan on doing some PvP you will also want to pick up a Jawa Rifle.

I would recommand getting a good speed sliced lacer rifle for grinding; those are a little faster than T 21. While you are shopping start looking for dmg sliced T21 w/ 200-490 dmg or better, DXR6 w/ 220-400 or better, Jawa w/ 160-290 or better. Those ain't the best stats but very much a good start.

These are absolute horrible damage sliced weapons. You should be looking for a t-21 with max damage of 700+, DXR6 will be rare as it requires loot from the geo cave, Jawa you should expect 400+.

Where the heck are you shopping? On my server, the Riflemen go nuts when we get a damage sliced T21 that has over 500 max. Apparently one of our best weaponsmiths has gone back into business, so perhaps this will change, but for now, I have never seen anything sold "over the counter" with the stats you are listing. Too bad we can't trade items from server to server.

In my experience, the stats VinsicsAlucard listed are more on par with what I see in the shops. I've used rifles of similar quality for most of my career as a Rifleman and have had no complaints...though a 700+ T21 would be a welcome addition to my arsenal.

700 damage would include powerups. 500 damage T-21s with no powerup on them are the best you can find. Unless for some reason krayts on your server consistently drop 100 dmg tissues in sets of 11 to make 1 T-21. Some people get confused and think 400 dmg jawas and 700 dmg T-21s are natural. They are being powered up unless they are exceptional or legendary loot. But you don't craft straight 700 dmg T-21s, sorry.

I use a speed sliced las rifle with a speed power-up so that makes it fire at 2.4 which for a las rifle is good

and i have a speed sliced T-21 which with the power up fires at 4.7

and I have a damage sliced T-21 with power up fires at 5.1

which skill box gives you the DXR-6 cert?? cause i dont see it listed in the rifleman tree. although i do seem to remember reading somewhere that its hidden

You can click on the Weapons Data List in my sig. It lists all the weapons (I hope) along with their AP level, damage type, and certification level.

I think this is a bit more accurate, but when you read Aldeon's post, it sounds as if he is saying that a damged slice that hits around 500 is horrible. Perhaps he meant the T21 should do 700+ with a power-up, but he does not actually say that. He simply refers to the slice of the weapon, so..until we hear back from him, we can't assume one way or the other. I'm friends with a Master WS though, and she said that anything over 500+ max on a damage slice is considered to be a pretty good slice. Perhaps Aldeon knows something the rest of us don't
