can you guys tell if rifleman would be a good combat prof with this template? master scout, master ranger, master rifleman, 3000 ch. i am pretty sure you guys are going to say yes. another question being a wookie can i wield a bowcaster at any stage or do i need a certain certification? and if i can wield one anytime, does it count as rifle xp? and also what would you guys suggest me doing so i can get novice rifle quickly, starting from novice. thanx

Sounds like a decent hunting template. However one thing you may want to look at is adding more CH and less Ranger. At least until they fix Ranger. A harvest droid will give you just as much if not more harvesting ability.
Only lines in Ranger right now you'll probably use are Tracking and Traps.
This would let you get more in CH and get more pets and higher level ones.

I am Master Rifleman and did Master Ranger several months ago. Other than the tracking, I didnt see much use for Ranger. That is an awful lot of Skill Points (Master Scout/Master Ranger) to use for hunting, especially since Master RIfleman by themselves can kill most MOBs. What is the Rangerhelping you do? The problem with this template is:
1. Not much defense
2. No up close offense/defense
3. No PvP help at all
But I will say this: If you like Ranger, than stick with it. I am MRM and Master Smuggler. These two do NOT complement each other either, but I love smuggler and therefore I stick with it. So, in short, do your own "Thang".

i agree with waste. ranger's main uses are trapping and tracking. you could even drop to tracking3 and be of great use in hunts because 4 is used for people...and thats usually not needed. trapping would be better used for carbines or pistols because in rifles you usually lay prone and shoot a target as much as possible before they notice you, where as with pistols and carbines you could throw the trap and get the aggro then blast away. but again just like wayneinaustin said, if ranger is your deal, be a ranger. individualism goes a long way when you feel you made yourself what you are and no one else plays like you
