hey guys whats up with the range? I have a T-21 range 64 and today i saw a guy with a hangun with range of 65 **edit** a rifleman should be able to have longer range than anything in the game i mean im not called a sniper for nothing. Does anyone know if the developers are planning on fixing this bull?

Thanks for the the info later all

That's nothing new. What really sucks is CM's can use their poisons at 90 meters. That's just wrong that a medic can trow a poison further than we can fire a rifle.

If that's got your noodle baked, then try not pondering why Combat Medics can throw their attack 16m farther than we can shoot our guns.

Hello i am pretty new to the game and was wondering why do we have the same range as a pistol or a carbine? Is there something in the system that keeps them from allowing us to have longer ranges? I find it pretty silly that a pistol can shoot just as far as i can.

I am sorry if i mised something that explains this.

First post on this account but long-time rifleman on my main.

Question is: Do the devs have no plans to increase the maximum range of rifles?

Other than by the 1 meter insult they have in TC.

Have they addressed this at all?

mmm... don't know what you mean by 1m insult. (perhaps you meant that they changed it from 64m to 65m.If they made a 1m change on TC I didn't notice lol ...)

In either case, yesthey have made it clear no increase to range. I'm sorry I can't quote it but the idea of 90m range or whatever is gone. But we get invisibility if anyone can think of an awsome use for it while prone when conceal shot dosn't seem to work...

In any case I've been on TC and I'm certanily keeping MRM... but droping TKM for more ranged skills

Check your rifles on TC, the max range is listed as 65m. And apparently the "platform isn´t capable of more than 64m".

It´s rediculous really. What are we supposed to do? Like run up to a base, get blasted by turrets, lay down and try to cover while pretending no-one saw us running up?

And what about the lack of damage output now? It would make sense if we could start shooting from 128m or something. Now, we get a big warmup time and cooldowns. How many shots do we get off before a mob is on top of us? 2 maximum?

Keep moving ,, keep moving.. really not being a smrt A... I was on test and learned quite well you go prone and get owned... hummmm that rymes. Anyway, use prone with cover and conceal shot for special times when you can set up an ambush with two or three in a group, covered in high locations looking down on the kill zone.

Just remember, where you are, is, where you are. ;-)

one small point

No specials at all with warm ups will work if you keep moving.

more specials will probably recieve warmups

So to stay alive, keep moving. If you keep moving you can´t kill whatever´s chasing you. If you can´t kill whatever´s chasing you then it´ll eventually kill you.

So ... stay stil = die, keep moving = die. What am I missing here?

Yeah this doesn't look good at all, I can't really see any benefit of cover (I thought at least they would let you crawl under cover) in pvp. One might say that rifleman would be great for support, since others can "go in" and take the beating while a rifleman snipes from a distance, but in pvp it's about people with (enough)brains; if you see a guy shooting for ungodly amounts of damage, and prone nonetheless, wouldn't you go for him first ? I know I would.
