Thread: OK, this should be a simple question, WHEN will we see our new weapons??

The drive for the CU has already begun.
What I would liked answered is when can I expect to see a exploding shell or even ink rifle in my hot like cyber hands?? Will it take a while for the AS's to find the schematics and then take even longer for them to find the required resources?? How soon be fore I can see the difference between a regular weapon and a krayt enhanced one???
Please pass along any, all clues. Thanks

Well if you're waiting for an Armorsmith to make you a weapon then you might be waiting for quite some time...... lol
As a Weaponsmith I would imagine that as long as the weapons are craftable (i.e not loot schematics such as the Ink Rifle) then you should see some available within a few days....... looted schematic stuff may take much longer to arrive depending on how easy they are to get.
And dont expect Krayt weapons to be the top weapons anymore - there are several hardcaps on all weapon stats that you can now reach withhalf-decent resources and a good slice, so everyone can have one of the best weapons quite easily....... loot now means squat

It figures the Krayt tissue I just looted would just as soon become almost worthless. Maybe if I'm luck I'll come across a bluefrog some where...right! ;P

as Kiell says there are now hardcaps on weapons for crafting so enhancement will be good to have but a decent crafted one with perfect resources should be nearly identical
Legendary and execeptional weapons are still 1-20% better then the best crafted in their class.
For weapons with schematics given to weaponsmiths - expect 1-3 days
For weapons which are loot schematic - when ever the weaponsmiths get the schematic
For loot weapons - well as fast as you finish the quests.

There are two reasons why krayt tissue will still be useful, and if you dont think so give them allto me . Reason 1) No more speed cap so if you get some tissue that takes off -1.0 speed it will rock 2) if you get some high damage tissue and can cap damage then you can hope for a speed slice and have max damage with fast speed.
