Thread: DC-15, The Warren part...

Does anyone on Chimaera want to group up and do this tomorrow? (saturday)

I've just spent 2 hours of almost getting to talk to the guy before the huurtons get me.

(If they can incap in one shot 30 lvls above us, then we should do the same to them if we're 30 lvls above them )

How to get to that part:

1) Have RotW.
2) Talk to Mr. Fett at Jabba's Ho-house *ahem* I mean Palace.
3) Choose the 'Jabba's running you off your feet' option.
4) Get mission. He'll give you a finger. Go to Rassus on Rori, the guy is before the waiting room in the space port. Give him the finger and he'll help you (despite how it sounds )
5) Go to space. Disable the smuggler's engine, then each gun (so they don't attack you as you escort).
6) Get jumped by smuggler's friends, and slaughter them mercilessly (the cheek of them).
7) Go to Labour Outpost on Yavin 4, and talk to the bartender at the very back of the cantina. (You might need to talk to Mr. Fett again before this point - unconfirmed). The bartender will send you to...
8) ...the Cantina at Nashel on Talus. Talk to the bartender. He will tell you to go to the back room.
9) Do so, and talk to Druge. Use the box, get the carbine, return to Mr. Fett.
10) Mr. Fett will give you the next bit, which is the Warren.

The Warren consists of going past some very very buggy doors and passageways into the first room, and using a computer. The computer spawns a scientist, who starts to follow you. Very very slowly. He died 3 times on me before going out of the Warren (yes this means you have to start the mission again, from part 10). Once you get him outside and kill the huurtons, you need to talk to him, and wait till the droids turn up. Kill the droids (you don't have to escort him all the way back to the outpost, as long as the questlog has updated), go to some cantina and get something from another box - I haven't actually got that far yet, as you can tell from the post. (Occasionally it spams some 'incomplete' mission stuff, but as long as the quest log says it's done, it's done. Don't go to Boba first, it seems to break the box and you have to start over again.)

All it needs in the Warren is 1 or 2 others to help. They go in first, take the aggro so that you can use the computer and get the scientist out. Then swap round. The huurtons are lvl 50, not hard if you're lvl 60+, but they have 12k health. And 3 of them on you can start to dent your health.

So. Do any riflemen, riflewomen or riflechildren want to help each other out on Chimaera? (Or arrange your own groups for other servers on this thread?) I'll be on all day tomorrow if you want to /tell me. Even if I've already passed that part, I'll see if I can come help, cause I know how damn annoying it is to try on your own.

Might turn this into a proper walk-through if I ever pass this part

You can this if you want. When you get to the room with the huurtons and scientist, stay close to the wall on the right and follow it to the datapad, click it talk to scientist when he's ready to leave you follow the wall the way you came and go up in the hallway and he should follow. I was able to do this without fighting, might work for you unless I was just lucky.

I think you were just extemely lucky! Even hiding in the gap between the two large crates in that corner, I still got aggrod. Not as much as further out though.

It might just be the respawn rate you were lucky with. If they keep spawning every minute or so (like with me) then it's very difficult.

you just need to get the huurtons to attack the npcs fighting in there, heheh Idont want tofollow a guide so I missed the scientist and went looking inside the whole complex trying to find the person. Second time I came in, I noticed I missed talking to the scientist in the first room...voila, there it was.

Yeah, but again it's the respawn rate. The seem to reach an equilibrium where huurtons keep respawning every minute or so. Sometimes they go to the NPCs, sometime they come to me

I went solo, Im rifles CH.

I mask scent up at the entrance, and was wearing plus mask scent clothing too.

Walked down the ramp, to the scientist, talked to him, walked out.

I only had to fight the robots that spawn specifically for the mission, luckily Id got out to the first landing before they spawned, so I never got any aggro from huurtons at all.

Ive helped others do it in a group, the trick is for the person doing the mission to walk down last, and do not initiate any combat.

I got double lucky when I did this, I walked in to the term, activated the term while getting hammered on. and as I walked out, the scientist followed me, I don't know why, I did not click on him. I dropped the 4 pack of hurtons at the top of the stairs, and insta completed the scientist, as he was already out making his mission complete and the droids not spawn.

Yar. I've only got pathetic mask scent, and it seems they always spot me first time.

I'll get there. Got a TK guildmate coming to tank for me

From when I tried it, it seemed that the huurtons respond like the mobs on the 'vette. If you run, you get noticed even when you have mask scent. Eventually, I tried with mask scent and WALKING. While walking, I was able to get to the computer console and go through the whole conversation with the scientist, then get him out. Huurtons only took notice of me on the way out, which is fine. Hope this helps, YMMV.
